Delivery Time
Delivery time refers to the time taken by the National Library to process the request. It does not include the time taken for the request to get to the Library or the time for the copy to get to you.
Services available:
For photocopies and most oral history transcripts
Normal service - normally 5 working days
Priority service -
normally 3 working days
You will be contacted if there is a delay or the service you have requested is not available.
For photographs
Normal Service - From July 2006 processing time for orders from the Pictures Branch will take about 2-3 weeks for small orders (1or 2 items) and about 3-4 weeks for larger orders. Delivery time is not guaranteed. For more information please contact the Document Supply Service.
Priority Service - 3 working days. Priority orders may be placed for up to 5 items per client per day.
For microfilming requests
To be negotiated but can range from 2 to 6 weeks
For inter-library loan requests
Normal service - normally 10 working days
Priority service -
normally 5 working days
Overseas service - delivery time not guaranteed
