Society of Australian Genealogists: This CD contains indexes to 3.9 million records drawn from the collections of 39 family history societies and institutions throughout Australia and New Zealand and is available to researchers in this fully searchable format for the first time. 19th & 20th century data drawn from cemetery records, shipping arrivals, newspaper entries, council rate books and war memorials are among the records included. New Zealand Society of Genealogists Inc.: This is a directory containing over 1 million names. Its purpose is to assist in the location of a burial or death, generally in New Zealand but includes some that occurred overseas. It is not a complete transcription giving full details of the burial, but points the researcher to a source or sources which should provide more details. New Zealand Cemeteries and Cemetery RecordsChristchurch City Libraries: This website provides links to some New Zealand cemeteries and online cemetery listings.
New Zealand Society of Genealogists Inc.: There are more than 300,000 names and the CD is searchable on surname, given name and occupation. The 1893 NZ Electoral Roll is valuable for research, as this was the first election for which women had the vote. ONLY AVAILABLE IN THE NEWSPAPER READING ROOM ON JUKE BOX PC.
New Zealand Society of Genealogists Inc.: The CD is searchable on surname, given name or initial and date. Some very unusual spellings are recorded which might be found using "partial" or Soundex searches. This index contains almost 1.7 million names of brides and grooms marrying between 1856 and 1956 with 22,500 names for earlier marriages. Its principal purpose is to help identify the matching entry to a marriage in the Registrar General Office's index of marriages. It does not contain details from certificates. Wellington, New Zealand, CemeteriesWellington City Council: This site provides cemetery and crematorium records of three Wellington cemeteries: Bolton St Cemetery (1849 to 1967), Karori Cemetery (1891 to the present day) and Makara Cemetery (1965 to the present day). It supplements the New Zealand Cemetery Records on microfiche at mc 1701 in the Open Access collection of the Newspapers and Microforms Reading Room.
