These archives are cared for in local record offices and libraries, universities, museums and national and specialist institutions across England, where they are made available to the public.
AbebooksAbebooks.com: Abebooks, formerly Advanced Book Exchange, is an online marketplace that includes used books, many rare and out-of-print, and also a growing number of new books. In addition to books, there are magazines, journals, illustration art, vintage photographs, and paper ephemera. There is also an option to search booksellers by name or country.
ACQWEB's Directory of Publishers and VendorsThis portion of AcqWeb is an international directory of publishers and vendors used by libraries. It links to their Web sites and email addresses. It is maintained for the benefit of the library community, in particular, acquisitions, collection development and serials librarians.
ADDALL: Used and Out of Print Search: A free service that searches across the databases of all the major online bookstores. As well as searching for used, out of print, and rare titles, it has the facility to search for new titles, music, magazines and movies.

Informit: ALISA is a bibliographic database that indexes and abstracts articles from published and unpublished material on library and information science. It comprehensively covers Australian literature on library and information services and the library workforce including education and training, information technology including CD-ROM, networking, electronic publishing and telecommunications, children's literature and archives. Source documents include monographs, research reports, periodical articles and unpublished material. Overseas articles by Australian authors or on Australian libraries are also indexed.

Mura Gadi is an online catalogue of the National Library of Australia's manuscript, pictorial and oral history resources relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
