The J. Paul Getty Trust: The AAT is a structured vocabulary containing around 125,000 terms and other information about concepts. Terms in AAT may be used to describe art, architecture, decorative arts, material culture, and archival materials. The coverage of the AAT ranges from Antiquity to the present, and the scope is global.

EBSCO Publishing: Academic Search Premier (Ebsco) contains full text for over 4,000 scholarly publications covering academic areas of study including social sciences, humanities, business, education, computer sciences, engineering, language and linguistics, arts & literature, health and medical sciences. In addition to the full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for many more journals and many journals are peer reviewed. These databases are updated daily on EBSCOhost. Deakin University, Faculty of Management & Informit: Arts & Entertainment Management Database (AEM) is a bibliographic database that indexes articles from published and unpublished material on arts and entertainment management. Source documents include journals, books, reports and surveys. Over 30 journal titles are indexed including Artwork magazine, International arts manager, Journal of cultural economics, and Museum news. These journals are indexed selectively for relevant arts and entertainment information. Subject coverage includes the arts and entertainment environment, cultural planning, finance, funding, law, marketing, project/venue management, research, and technology related to the arts and entertainment industry.

AHDS is a UK national service aiding the discovery, creation and preservation of digital resources in and for research, teaching and learning in the arts and humanities. Subjects include archaeology, history, performing arts, visual arts, and literature, languages and linguistics.

National Library of Australia: AHRR is a listing of privately owned, paper-based records of Australian life from settlement to 1988. It includes information on letters, diaries, photographs, recipe books, financial records, posters, sketches, catalogues, registers, minute books and other items.

6. OnsiteAmerica: History and Life

ABC-CLIO: America; History and Life covers the history of the United States and Canada from prehistory to the present. (Literature on the history of the rest of the world is covered in Historical Abstracts.) It indexes over 1,700 journals from 1964 to the present, with full text coverage of approximately 200 journals and 100 books. It includes English abstracts of articles published in over 40 languages.

A virtual library of on-line publications concerned with the historic environment. The library is currently divided into Books, Bibliographies, Journals, and Other resources. The book section includes the Council for British Archaeology's Research Report series and ADS's own Guides to Good Practice, among other texts, and the journal section links to a large number of scholarly journals.

Ship and passenger records are found throughout the National Library in books, journals, newspapers, manuscripts, microform, pictures, maps and electronic media. Material includes information on ships, voyages, shipping companies, shipping and passenger lists and registers, shipwrecks, whaling, shipping arrivals and departures in Australian ports, logs, journals, diaries and voyage narratives, and ships' illustrations.
